📱 Mobile Device (Secondary Device) Permission Steps

If you are using a mobile phone as a secondary camera, ensure the following permissions are enabled:

On Android (Chrome Browser)

  1. Open Settings on your phone
  2. Go to Privacy → Permission Manager
  3. Select Camera and set browser access to Allow while using the app
  4. Select Microphone and allow access for the same browser
  5. Open Chrome and refresh the exam page

On iPhone (Safari Browser)

  1. Open Settings
  2. Scroll to Safari
  3. Enable Camera and Microphone access
  4. Set permissions to Allow or Ask
  5. Return to the exam page and refresh
⚠️ If camera or microphone permissions are denied on your mobile device, the secondary camera connection will fail, and you may be unable to continue.

✅ Final Check: Confirm Device-Level Permissions

Before retrying your test:
  • Confirm system-level permissions are enabled for your browser on both primary and secondary devices
  • Ensure no other application is using the camera or microphone
  • Run a device test
You should be able to:
  • See your video feed
  • Observe audio input bars moving when you speak
If the issue persists after completing these steps, restart the device and repeat the permission checks before rejoining the test.
