When a candidate completes an assessment, their scores should appear automatically in the recruiter dashboard. If scores are missing or not displaying as expected, several factors could be preventing the results from appearing correctly. This article helps recruiters troubleshoot and resolve issues when assessment scores don’t appear after a candidate has completed their evaluation.

🔎 Troubleshooting Common Issues

What might be wrongHow to fix it
Assessment is still being processedWait 2-3 minutes after completion.
Large assessments with video responses or coding tests may take longer to process.
Refresh the candidate’s profile page to check for updated scores.
Score visibility settings are restrictedCheck Assessment Permissions in the workflow settings. Ensure your user role has permission to view assessment scores. Contact your admin if access needs to be updated.
Browser cache or session issueClear your browser cache and cookies, then log back into Talview.
Try accessing the scores from a different browser or in incognito mode to rule out local caching issues.
Assessment submission wasn’t recordedVerify the candidate’s submission status shows as “Completed” in the workflow dashboard.
If it shows “In Progress,” the candidate may not have clicked the final submit button.
Ask the candidate to confirm submission.

Additional Tips:

  • Verify that the assessment was properly submitted and not left incomplete; ensure you see a confirmation screen after completing it.
  • Refresh the page or log out and back in again, as scores may not show up immediately due to sync delays or browser cache issues.
  • Retake the assessment if possible; this can help update your scores on the dashboard and give you clearer feedback on your performance.
